So we built it. BuaHQ — Bua is Irish for win, victory, triumph — is a hurling-native analysis engine. AI does the heavy lifting; our team quality-checks every page before it ships. Founded in Tipperary in 2026 to put serious tactical analysis in the hands of every club and county.
The story
Tactical analysis was a privilege. We made it a tool.
For a long time, serious tactical analysis sat behind a wall — full-time analysts, expensive software, fortnight-long turnarounds. A handful of setups could afford it. Everyone else — clubs, smaller counties, development squads — made do with whiteboard scribbles, a hunch and the parish grapevine. Not because they cared less. Because the tools weren't built for them.
BuaHQ closes that gap. The engine is a hurling-native AI model — trained on the language of the game, the framework, and the decisions that actually win and lose matches. It produces what used to take an analyst a fortnight in a matter of hours.
